My passion for soapmaking started 10yrs ago, after endless attempts to find a soap that would not be drying and irritating to my child’s sensitive skin. Commercial soaps were literally stripping the moisture from her already dry, rough hands and skin.
Since other soaps were aggravating her skin so much, I researched some different options and decided to make handmade cold processed soap. Using this method leaves naturally occurring glycerin in the soap, to simply help skin maintain a reasonable level of feeling clean and comfortable.
Shortly thereafter, I also began to make creams and lotions. This was primarily to give me the option of carefully choosing ingredients I felt would help keep her skin moist, and above all … more comfortable.
Through all of this, I found a huge passion, and gratification in the process of making my own.
This is a very small company. The products are all made in small controlled batches, with sensitive skin in mind.
In the fragranced and colored products high quality skin safe perfume oils, essential oils and colorants are used.
After all … clean and comfortable skin doesn’t always mean boring.
